Music lessons online
There are so many apps/platforms for you to provide for your kids to have music lessons online.
You don’t have to own an instrument in order to learn to play an instrument. I had some great fun researching my list to give to you and have found some great platforms for the kids to give a go too!
I will add a variety of apps and platforms to accommodate a variety of ages for you.
This is a great FREE platform, I would say it is more 8 years+ but check it out and see what you think!
The piano simulator is great fun, it also helps to support hand eye co-ordination and motor skills, as you have to hit the correct key when the light turns green.
I found the registration for the site really simple to do and got active with the site less than 5 minutes.

This is a great platform to learn the virtual drums!
One thing I did find was that I had to download the Yahoo browser in order for it to work for me, it wouldn’t work on Chrome. Bit of a pain in the butt, however if you don’t mind doing this, it is a great platform to use!
It is a FREE platform to use, again, I would say it is for the older children- 8 years+. They offer a beginners guide, which teaches the rudimental and the fundamentals of drumming, along with so much more and it also offers lessons for an intermediate student. Go check it out.

At Guitar Trick, they make learning how to play guitar a lot of fun! The instructors cover each section of a song slowly at first, and once you get each part down you get to play along with a professional backing band. For difficult songs they offer a ‘Songs Made Easy’ version for beginners, which is simplified to the basic chords and one guitar part. Each song includes accurate guitar tabs as well as standard music notation. Try it for free. The site gets you to create an account but does not show prices.
