Here is a little about us! We are the Ingram’s and a family of 5. About us
I’m Hayley (mum)and author of this website, Joel (dad) Mckenzie 17, Anna 16 and Roman 10.

Welcome! About us

To Ingram freedom journey, here is a place where we write about our family life,  home schooling  and laws, sharing our knowledge and resources with you! Having worked as a childminder previously and also home educating for several years, I will share any knowledge I have with you and to help you in your home schooling journey. Yes it is absolutely daunting when you first start, but I am afraid to say, no matter how long you are doing it for, you will have times, even years down the line, when you question if you are doing the right thing by home schooling. Just remember this: NOBODY QUITS ON A BAD DAY! Yes you will have bad days but just remember why you decided to home educate in the first place. About us.

I personally noticed a drastic change in our youngest Roman’s behaviour when he went to school, so Roman only stayed in school for around 3 months, when he was 3 and that was enough for me. He was so unhappy and angry, my little man’s personality had completely changed for the worst but within a week of pulling him out, he was back to the Roman I knew and loved. All I can say is that you know your child best and ALWAYS trust your gut. But.

We are creating a life where we work from home, tick off our ever growing bucket list of experiences and help as many people as possible, while help protect our planet. And so. About us.

It has been a journey already! We look forward to sharing what we have learned so far and what we learn along the way.
